It was a joy to collaborate on the books below. I co-authored, designed and project managed each of these projects. Write a Book – Change the World highlights my collaboration with Dr. Tim Morrison and features ten of our most interesting interviews from his radio show Write Here, Write Now. All the rest were concepts I conceived and gathered collaborators to create.
A collection of original doodles are featured in my newly published coloring book titled Love Coloring.
Love Coloring: An Active and Artful Way to Relax ($11.95)
Why Love Coloring? Author/ artist Vanessa Lowry states, “From moment to moment, we have the choice to focus on thoughts that amplify our anxiety or to give priority to thoughts of things we love. As I drew these pages, I was reminded to opt for loving thoughts. As you artfully relax, I hope you also CHOOSE LOVE.” These original doodles are perfectly suited for the adult coloring enthusiast and older children. The artist recommends coloring with fine tipped markers or colored pencils. This 52 page, perfect bound book is 8.5 x 10.75 and contains 26 love-themed doodle designs printed on thick, high quality paper — blank on the back to reduce the chance of colors bleeding through.
Research has shown that we increase our happiness quotient and improve our mental health when we allow our busy minds to calm down on a regular basis. Many are finding the total absorption of coloring is an active and artful meditation that not only triggers their bodies to relax, but also boosts creativity. In Parade magazine, psychologist Alice Domar, Ph.D. was quoted saying, “Coloring engages both sides of your brain in that it’s both creative and tactical. The creativity comes with envisioning the color selection and how it will play throughout the piece, while the tactical involves applying your decisions to the artist’s design.”
Purchase a 2-pack on Amazon. Take advantage of a discounted price of $55.95 for five Love Coloring books. Or ten books for $100.95.

30 Days of Gratitude: An Opportunity to Infinitely Improve Your Life ($14.95)
This book, in journal form, offers 30 exercises that have been designed to open your heart to the miracle of gratitude and the amazing changes that can happen when you become more grateful. Most exercises are designed to take about 5 minutes, but on some days it will take a little longer. Authors Dr. Robin Kirby, Carolyn Buttram, and Vanessa Lowry encourage readers to set aside 5 to 10 minutes of quiet time every morning when you can focus entirely on that day’s exercise. Some of the exercises will call you to spend a few moments quietly reflecting at the end of the day. This is a time to help you focus on the miracle of your life and encourage yourself to be thankful for the day.
